You always hear (including on this site) that, while a web destination is important, it is most certainly not a Magic Bullet. It's like building a store somewhere, and then waiting for people to come and visit.

Since we're all about making a good example, DMDxd has embarked on the Web Presence Project. We are infililtrating and integrating ourselves into every web community and site that we feel we belong in. This is an effort to put us where our colleagues are, versus somehow waiting for them to come find us.
