Intro to Interaction Design workshop

He made many useful references and gave us a good list of reading materials. We did a few sketching exercises throughout the morning as he emphasized the importance of sketching as an excellent means of brainstorming and communicating. Microsoft Surface

It seemed to grab a lot of peoples attention as there was a big group standing around playing with its fun functions. The screen is 30" which enabled people to sit around the table-like screen and interact with it and those around it. Aerospace Propulsion Apprentice aka Jet Engine Mechanic

Posted by Duke Sherman on February 5 at 9:20 AM Really like how the Air Force is translating the interesting parts of being on the Air Force team into marketing and advertising materials. This ad does a nice job of showing the geeky cool parts of being in the Air Force rather than trying to sell me on the "honor" aspect. It is getting to what matters and what is possible. Learning real skills and working with real cutting edge technology. Its great that they use an apprentice to support that sentiment. Really gets to how accessible great work can be when you are a part of their team.
